MLBA Membership Online The MINNESOTA LAVENDER BAR ASSOCIATION is a vibrant organization of Minnesota lawyers, law students, academics, and others interested in the legal issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and HIV status. MLBA is a recognized and respected affiliate of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and of the Hennepin and Ramsey County Bar Associations, and is a voice for these concerns within these groups. MLBA has successfully worked with these organizations to oppose anti-GLBT legislation, expand member benefits to include domestic partners, include pertinent issues within diversity and educational efforts, update policies of the Minnesota judiciary, and promote legal reform.
