Fifteen years have passed since Congress enacted the infamous “Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell” statute, prohibiting openly gay, lesbian, or bisexual Americans from serving in the armed forces. How has the actual experience with this law matched its supporters’ expectations, and how does our current military engagement in the Middle East affect its implementation today? Does the policy serve our country well, and if not, what are the prospects for change?

This CLE presented in conjunction with the Hennepin County Bar Association, which will seek one Elimination of Bias credit.
