Minnesota’s Chief Justice to appear at Regional Lavender Law: Jan. 31, 2009

As the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association enters its tenth year, we are very pleased to welcome to this year’s Regional Lavender Law conference Eric Magnuson, Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court, as one of several engaging and informative speakers! Mark the date on your calendar and make plans to attend this conference – which, as in previous years, promises to be part CLE, part family reunion. MSBA’s Unmarried Couples Task Force Seeks Participants

The MSBA's Unmarried Couples Task Force is seeking new members to help complete its work. The MSBA established the Task Force earlier this year to review the current state of Minnesota law as it relates to unmarried couples and to make recommendations for changes, if any.

The Task Force will establish working committees to review areas of the law that affect couples who are not married, including family law, estate planning and probate, real estate, tax, insurance, labor and employment, regulation of business, criminal law, consumer law and miscellaneous other laws. “Advertising” opportunities in the MLBA newsletter!
